The Role
We are seeking an Interior Design Writer & Editor to develop the editorial collection for a platform documenting the people, ideas, styles, and developments shaping interior design.
The output of the work is publication-ready articles across foundational essays, interpretive studies, and shorter editorial observations. You will use AI to support research, outlining, and first-draft development, while taking responsibility for the accuracy, depth, structure, citations, and final quality of every article.
This is not a general SEO content-writing role. It requires strong design awareness, careful research, and the judgment to turn complex subjects into credible and engaging editorial work.
What You’ll Work On
- Develop article ideas, angles, and outlines
- Research and write foundational essays, interpretive studies, and editorial observations
- Use AI tools to support research and drafting without relying on unverified output
- Verify facts, evaluate sources, organize citations, and distinguish fact from interpretation
- Revise articles based on feedback and maintain consistency across the launch collection
- Deliver publication-ready articles within the agreed schedule
Tools & Technical Mastery
Strong candidates demonstrate proficiency in:
- English-language research, writing, and substantive editing
- Fact-checking, source evaluation, and citation organization
- AI-assisted research and content-development workflows
- Google Docs or similar collaborative writing platforms
- Basic CMS knowledge, preferably
Who This Role Is For
Strong candidates typically:
- Have a background or demonstrated strong interest in interior design, journalism, or editorial writing
- Can explain complex design subjects in clear and engaging English
- Can recognize weak, generic, or unsupported claims in AI-generated drafts
- Are comfortable proposing original topics and editorial angles
- Can manage research, deadlines, and revisions independently
- Have relevant writing samples, academic work, published articles, or portfolio pieces
A related degree is preferred but not mandatory. Fresh graduates with exceptional writing, research ability, and interior design knowledge are welcome to apply.

What You’ll Gain
- Direct exposure to high-standard editorial work in the interior design industry
- Opportunity to develop published work across American interior design luxury market
- Performance-based financial upside tied to execution quality
- A focused environment that values consistency, clarity, and long-term results
- Support for AI-assisted research, editorial workflows, and skill development
How We Evaluate Fit
We care less about formal titles and more about:
- The clarity and structure of your English writing
- Your understanding of interior design subjects
- Your ability to research, verify, and organize information
- Your judgment when developing or editing AI-assisted drafts
- Your ability to distinguish documented facts from editorial interpretation
- Your reliability when managing a multi-article project
The process includes:
- Résumé or LinkedIn profile review
