Reports to:American Marketing Director

We are seeking a Digital PR Specialist to execute public relations campaigns for US-based clients, primarily in the interior design and related design industries.

You will research media opportunities, identify relevant story angles, prepare press materials, conduct outreach, and coordinate campaigns through publication. Working under the direction of US-based leadership, you will manage day-to-day PR execution independently while maintaining strong writing, accuracy, and professional follow-through.

This role requires someone who understands what makes a story relevant to editors, not someone who relies on generic pitches or mass outreach.

What You’ll Work On

  • Research US publications, editors, journalists, and relevant media opportunities
  • Develop story angles around client projects, awards, expertise, and business milestones
  • Write media pitches, press releases, award submissions, biographies, and supporting materials
  • Build targeted media lists and conduct personalized outreach and follow-up
  • Coordinate written interviews, editorial features, expert commentary, images, and project information
  • Track campaign activity, responses, opportunities, and published coverage
  • Collaborate with leadership and other DMS teams to deliver accurate, organized campaigns
  • Use AI to support research and drafting while maintaining editorial judgment, accuracy, and a human voice

Tools & Technical Mastery

Strong candidates demonstrate proficiency in:

  • Media research, pitching, and editorial storytelling
  • Professional English writing, editing, and proofreading
  • Email outreach, campaign organization, and follow-up
  • Google Workspace and spreadsheet-based campaign tracking
  • AI-assisted research and writing tools

Strong candidates typically:

  • Have 3-5 years of experience in PR, media relations, journalism, communications, or a related agency role
  • Can turn projects, expertise, awards, and announcements into credible media stories
  • Have excellent written and spoken English
  • Understand how to research publications and approach the appropriate editors
  • Are organized, proactive, and able to work independently after receiving direction
  • Can demonstrate relevant pitches, press materials, campaigns, or published coverage
  • Have experience with international media, preferably
  • Have familiarity with interior design, architecture, luxury, or lifestyle industries, preferably

A related bachelor’s or master’s degree is preferred, but practical experience and demonstrated ownership are valued more highly than a specific degree.

What You’ll Gain

  • Direct exposure to the US interior design and lifestyle media landscape
  • Opportunities to strengthen your pitching, storytelling, and campaign-planning skills
  • Performance-based financial upside
  • Support for responsible AI implementation and professional development
  • A focused environment that values consistency, clarity, and long-term results

We care most about:

  • The strength and clarity of your writing

  • Your understanding of media research and personalized outreach
  • Your attention to accuracy and campaign organization
  • Your ability to work independently and follow through consistently

The process includes:
