We are seeking an Audience & Content Manager to lead the development of a B2B information, education, and professional-resource platform for interior designers and other design-industry professionals.

You will shape the platform’s audience strategy, content-product roadmap, publishing priorities, and growth initiatives. The role extends beyond managing an editorial calendar: you will determine which resources, newsletters, reports, guides, interviews, educational formats, community initiatives, and other professional products should be developed to attract, engage, and retain a specialized audience.

You will establish priorities and coordinate writers, editors, designers, SEO specialists, and technical team members responsible for execution. You will also guide the use of AI to support industry monitoring, audience research, content planning, segmentation, performance analysis, and responsible repurposing across formats.

What You’ll Work On

  • Own the audience strategy, content-product direction, and development priorities
  • Define how newsletters, reports, guides, educational resources, and other content products should be structured, delivered, measured, and improved over time
  • Conduct or coordinate audience research to understand the needs, challenges, behaviors, and information gaps of design-industry professionals
  • Develop recurring content products such as newsletters, reports, interviews, guides, and educational resources
  • Establish editorial calendars, publishing standards, and clear production processes
  • Identify opportunities to improve audience acquisition, engagement, retention, and repeat usage
  • Coordinate editorial, design, SEO, marketing, and technical resources from concept through publication
  • Use analytics, search and discovery behavior, newsletter performance, audience research, and direct feedback to guide priorities

You’ll be encouraged to:

  • Find practical ways to strengthen email growth, engagement, and retention
  • Use AI to improve content planning, audience insight, and repurposing without weakening quality
  • Maintain a credible, useful, and clearly defined B2B position

Tools & Technical Mastery

Strong candidates demonstrate proficiency in:

  • Audience development and content-product planning
  • B2B publishing, editorial planning, or professional education
  • Newsletter strategy, email acquisition, and audience segmentation
  • Website analytics, newsletter performance, SEO, and digital distribution
  • Cross-functional project management and publishing coordination
  • AI-assisted trend detection, content organization, analysis, and repurposing

Experience with email marketing platforms, content management systems, analytics tools, and CRM audience data is valuable.

Strong candidates typically:

  • Have at least 5 years of experience in audience development, B2B publishing, editorial product management, content strategy, media, or professional education
  • Understand how useful content products attract, engage, and retain specialized audiences
  • Have experience with newsletters, editorial planning, audience analytics, SEO, or digital distribution
  • Can set priorities and guide cross-functional projects through completion
  • Are comfortable using data and audience feedback to make recommendations
  • Communicate clearly and professionally in English
  • Can work independently while maintaining alignment and visibility with leadership
  • Have familiarity with interior design, professional-services audiences, or trade publishing, preferably

A related bachelor’s or master’s degree is preferred, but practical experience and demonstrated ownership are valued more highly than a specific degree.

What You’ll Gain

  • Direct exposure to US-market B2B publishing and audience-development standards
  • Opportunity to build and refine scalable content products and audience-growth systems
  • Performance-based financial upside tied to execution quality and audience impact
  • A high-trust environment focused on ownership, clarity, and measurable outcomes
  • Support for AI implementation, audience intelligence, and skill development

How We Evaluate Fit

We care less about formal titles and more about:

  • Your understanding of specialized audiences and what keeps them engaged
  • Your ability to identify valuable content products and growth opportunities
  • Your approach to prioritization, publishing, and cross-functional execution
  • Your experience with newsletters, analytics, SEO, and digital distribution
  • Your ability to use audience data without losing editorial judgment
  • Your judgment when applying AI to content and audience workflows

The process includes:

  • Résumé or LinkedIn profile review
  • A short video introduction
  • A conversation focused on audience strategy, content products, publishing, and growth priorities
  • A paid practical assignment
